The following message was sent to all families on March 1, 2020. I invite you to take a few moments to read it along with some additional notes here of things that everyone can do to help prevent spreading of colds/viruses. Also, at the end of the message I have posted the letter from Bishop Robert Vasa of February 28th to Pastors and Parochial Administrators, noting changes to practices at all Masses and that schools should remain especially vigilant regarding the potential spread of virus in school communities.
Ways you can help
Recommendations from Napa County Public Health and the Center for Disease Control continue to be in line with our own practices. Here are some simple ways that you can help.
If your son or daughter exhibits a fever, please do not send them to school until they are 24 hours fever free, without medicine.
Encourage your son or daughter to wash their hands often and regularly.
Encourage your son or daughter not to share drinks or food with others, cover their cough or sneeze not using their hand, and take precautionary measures when they or others around them are sick.
Ensure that you take similar precautions and if you are traveling anywhere that you be mindful of those around you.
